The Broadfield Slopes Project
From March 2025, we'll be working to improve the Grade II listed area surrounding Rochdale Town Hall known as the Broadfield Slopes.

The history of Rochdale Town Hall
The Grade-I listed building was designed by William Crossland and opened in 1871 as a symbol of the town’s industrial standing in the textile trade.

Our historic rooms
Since we opened our doors in 1871, the rooms of Rochdale Town Hall have been the backdrop to countless events that have helped shape the borough.
