Emergency, emergency, can you help? Somewhere in this giant building, the town hall keys have gone missing!!
Your class will need to complete riddles, actions, and quests to find hidden objects that will help locate and unlock a hidden box somewhere containing the master keys.
During this lively session, your class will work in teams to discover the hidden rooms, immerse themselves in local history and find out about local legends who contributed to the building of Rochdale Town Hall.
Please note, one half of your class will take part in the facilitator lead ‘The Lost Keys of Rochdale’, while the other half work with their teacher to take part in self-led activities. After an hour the groups will swap.
The self-led sessions are easy peasy games for pupils, full of hands-on games from brick building to dice throwing, your class will be so absorbed in having fun they won’t even realise they’re learning.
